Welcome to Argyll! We are pleased to offer specialist minibus tours on a full or half day basis to help you create a memorable highland experience.
Tours are led by a passionate, knowledgeable and professional team with over 50 years of experience and pleasure of wildlife research and conservation between them.
Focusing on mainland Argyll, ecologists Ross and wildlife biologist Janie will take you to some wonderful wild places where it can be possible to view some of our native residents whilst taking in the beautiful breath-taking scenery. We offer responsible and ethical tours abiding by the Wildlife Watching Code and the Scottish Outdoor Access Code to ensure your trip has minimal negative impact on the environment. Our full and half day trips cater for small groups (max. 8 adults) so that explorers can have a more bespoke day. We will endeavour to accommodate for personal interests and /or specific needs; just call us for a chat. Bespoke trips for solo travellers and larger groups can be arranged. You may be seeking particular species or the privacy of your own family or social group. Please call to discuss your requirements.
On full-day trips, hot drinks and a lunch of local, ethically sourced ingredients are provided with hot drinks and home baked biscuits on the half day excursions. Details will be available upon booking. Please call to discuss your dietary needs which we will try to meet.
Do bring stout but comfortable walking footwear, waterproofs and warm layers as well as your water bottle and snacks for your comfort.
Please understand sightings of particular species cannot be guaranteed but we will certainly do our best and also leave you with tips for the rest of your break and onward travels.
